OM Judges' and Coaches' Sharing
Miss Lam Chun (Experienced Judge)
To be a judge for OM provides me an opportunity to learn from the participants and the judging teams as well as the organization that works out the itinerary for the whole event and holds the belief that everyone can be creative.  I have gained fun, creativity and not the least, the ideas that sparkle me and enhance my problem-solving skills in daily life. I do treasure the friendship built up throughout the years and hope every success in the coming OM contests.

POH Chan Kai Memorial College
Mr. Jacky Wong (OM Coach)

I have been coaching for 5 years. The process benefits not only the students, but also coaches. 8 minutes Long-term problem performance projects students’ sweat and tears for their long term preparation. The competition is a drill for patience and concentration. Everyone is holding the same faith, trying to release their utmost creativity potential. I am glad to have experienced 2 teams won the World Championships. But the most important is students’ effort can be recognized. It is the belief in Odyssey of the Mind that everyone is a winner.

St. Joseph’s Primary School
Ms. Cecilia Ho (OM Coach)

"This is my fourth year as an OM coach. My very first hurdle is to gather the kids twice a week for training after school. Besides, it’s a brain-racking process to transform abstract ideas into reality while making props and costumes. To solve it, we have to be unexceptionally creative and enduring in overcoming our handicaps through endless trial and errors. The most challenging moment would be when everyone thinks his idea is the better than the others. However, when we finish our tasks, we are overwhelmed with accomplishment. Come and experience the sores and thrills of being an OM coach! "
